The most important aspects of a diamond are cut, color, clarity and carat weight.
Diamond Cut
Cut is not the shape of a diamond; it only refers to the arrangement of a diamond’s facets. When cut to good proportions, the diamond is better able to handle light, and creates more brilliance and sparkle. A well-cut diamond will always look brilliant, no matter what type of setting it is in.
